The Type 2 EV Connector in Singapore
Type 2 for AC, CCS2 for DC
Your home Type 2 charger handles everyday AC charging. Public and commercial DC fast chargers use CCS2, which adds two DC pins below the Type 2 plug. One standard, universal compatibility.
Does Tesla use Type 2?
Yes — Teslas sold in Singapore use the Type 2 / CCS2 standard, so any of our Type 2 chargers work with them. You don't need a Tesla-only charger.
Frequently asked questions
Will your chargers work with my car?
Yes. All our chargers use the Type 2 connector, which is the standard for every EV sold in Singapore — including Tesla, BYD, Hyundai, Kia, BMW and Mercedes.
Is Type 2 the same as CCS2?
CCS2 is the DC fast-charging version — it's the Type 2 plug with two extra DC pins. Your home AC charger uses Type 2; public DC chargers use CCS2.
